Irelan & Friend

A couple weeks ago Irelan And I visited our favorite park. Lo and behold, we had a little visitor that stopped by. Irelan and the visitor had a little chat than the visitor left with a man who was wearing a long yellow hat.

There's a fungus among us.

A couple months ago, when we had a wet winter, I took some photos of mushrooms near my work place. It's interesting how mushrooms differ from one block to another in the same locale. The jellied mushroom below was really interesting. I've never seen a jellied one before.

Pfeiffer Beach

These last couple of days we have had temperatures in the 90's. I figured that I would pull a picture of the ocean that I took last year and post it. Looking at the picture helps a little to cool off. Of course, it would be a lot better if I was at the beach now and was transmitting this picture in real time. Oh well, I know that I will be back at the beach soon.

2009 Easter

This past weekend we celebrated Easter with breakfast cooked by Tijan and Shimaine. My little princess was present even though she was battling a virus and had a runny nose. Below are pictures of my princess and a picture of Celena w/rabbit ears. Irelan wore a dress that Grandma sent her because it was her favorite color.

At our favorite park

Last weekend was a sunny and warm weekend. Irelan and I decided that we needed to visit our favorite park and check out the action. There was a new children s playground constructed and Irelan gave it a thumbs up. We also decided to hike this hill, (actually, it was Irelan's idea, I wasn't prepared for hill climbing because I was wearing flip-flops). Nevertheless, I made it up the hill and we discovered a nice lake with plenty of amunition (rocks) to throw in the lake. All in all, it was a great day.
