I am a full time employee

Good news for me, starting this coming Monday, I will be a full time employee manning the IT help desk for a travel agency in Santa Clara. The only down side to my job is that I will spend less time with Irelan. Hopefully, I can makeup for lost time on weekends. Anyway, I'm excited and can't wait to start my new job.

Girls Pajama Party!!!!

Yesterday, we got a chance to babysit Irelan and Maddie. They both had their pajamas, so, needless to say, the camera came out. Enjoy the photos.

They are interested in me...

Well, I had my second interview at the travel agency that I interviewed last week. They actually offered me a verbal job offer pending background check. So, if everything goes well, I should have a full time job in about a week or so. The lady interviewing me stated that in the final outcome, it was between myself and another individual. The other individual had more experience, but she felt that I had more personality. Wow, who would have guessed that personality would win over knowledge...... I would have. Read my next paragraph.

A wise individual told me many years ago that if you had to choose between 2 employees, where one employee was more knowledgeable than the other employee, but the other employee had more personality and character, choose the latter individual. You can always teach an employee to get more knowledge, but personality is something that is inherent in you and develops through your whole life. Food for thought.

Little Irelan is really beginning to show her baby teeth, 2 of which have started to pop out. She had this pretty summer outfit on and I just had to take some pictures of it.

Went for a job interview last week for a travel agency. Should know by next week if they are interested in me.

Chicago Skyline

On Sunday, my brother drove me around in downtown Chicago. I took some pictures of the skyline from some of the museums that Chicago has. It is known for its museums. The pictures were taken at around 8:00 am. The morning was gorgeous.

The Meaning of Limber
